With over 20 years in the construction industry, I’ve built my career on hard work, honesty, and a commitment to quality. Starting as a 15-year-old apprentice in Palmerston North, I had earned my NZQA Carpentry Qualification by the age of 19. I later expanded my skills overseas, working in both the UK and South America, where I developed a critical eye for construction techniques and gained a global perspective on building methods.

In 2010, I was introduced to FlashClad, a brand whose rigorous testing and weather-tight solutions stood out as a game changer. From becoming the Wellington distributor with a good friend, turned business partner (where we later established the Manawatu-Whanganui distributorship), to establishing Cladding and Flashing Solutions in Palmerston North, my focus has always been on delivering durable, high-quality cladding installations that clients can rely on.

Over the years, I’ve worked extensively on:

• Destructive testing (investigating building failures leading to weather tightness issues)

• Fasçade testing (testing of cladding and window flashing products to achieve compliance)

• Recladding leaky homes and commercial buildings

When I’m not overseeing projects, I’m a Dad to three busy kids, catching up with family and friends, staying active, or enjoying a bit of hunting.
